The memorial page allows you to manage the account of a deceased user, if their loved ones so wish. This way, family, friends, and colleagues can continue to share their photos and videos or post comments as a memorial. This way, a "In memory of" message will appear before their name on their profile. Please note that their name will no longer appear publicly, and you will no longer receive notifications about them (birthdays, etc.). However, it is necessary to designate a legacy contact who is one of the deceased's Facebook friends.

1. Open the form to convert your Facebook account

2. Complete the form
Next, you must complete the form with:
- The first and last name listed on the deceased's Facebook account
- The date of death
- Proof of death (obituary, memorial card, etc.)
- Your email address
3. Submit the form
At this point, simply click the "Submit" button in the bottom right corner of the form. Facebook will then contact you to confirm your identity and provide supporting documents.
